

Art. 65 Strategic planning of knowledge and skills
Companies and Entities, as part of programs aimed at adopting new skills, promote the training of all personnel aimed at knowledge of potential safety risks and the procedures to follow to protect themselves and colleagues from acts of violence, through training on specific risks related to the activity carried out, including methods for recognizing warning signs or situations that may lead to aggression, methodologies for managing aggressive and violent patients.
Art. 66 Recipients of training processes
Companies and Entities identify employees who participate in training activities based on training needs, while ensuring equal opportunities for participation.
Activities are normally held during regular working hours. If activities take place outside the service location, personnel are entitled to reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses, where applicable.
Personnel participation in training activities takes place in the following areas of application:
- teaching courses provided for by art. 6 of Legislative Decree 30.12.1992 n. 502
- compulsory professional refresher courses for personnel organized by the national health service
- basic training and retraining of personnel.
Training activity, if carried out outside working hours, is paid on a lump-sum basis with a gross hourly compensation of €25.82, including the commitment for lesson preparation and correction of assignments as well as participation in the activities of teaching bodies.
If the activity in question is carried out during working hours, the above compensation is due in the amount of 20% for the commitment in preparing lessons and correcting assignments, as this is done outside working hours.
Art. 67 Continuing education and ECM.
Personnel participating in training are considered to be on duty for all purposes and the related costs are borne by the Company or Entity. The employee who without justified reason does not participate in continuing education and does not acquire the credits required in the three-year period, will not be able to participate in internal selections for any reason in the following three-year period.
The obligation to acquire training credits is suspended during periods of pregnancy and maternity, any type of leave taken, including secondments for trade union reasons. The three-year period resumes from the employee's return to service.
Art. 68 training leave toworkers, with at least five years of service with the same company or entity in the sector, may be granted, upon request, training leave up to a total percentage of 10% of the staff in the various areas in service with a permanent employment contract. The total number of leaves is checked annually based on the staff as of December 31 of each year. Supplementary bargaining defines the criteria for the distribution and use of the percentage.
The employee must submit a specific application to the company or entity, indicating the training activity they intend to carry out, the start date and expected duration, at least 30 days before the start of the training activities.
The company may refuse for serious organizational reasons, stating the reason in writing.
