Infermieri ostaggi. Politica e aziende ignorano le esigenze dei professionisti

Infermieri ostaggi. Politica e aziende ignorano le esigenze dei professionisti

Schiavi di una classe politica e dirigenziale prepotente e menefreghista...

The situation of nurses in Italy is increasingly worrying.
Many colleagues feel treated like slaves, forced to work in precarious conditions, without proper recognition or respect for their fundamental rights. Politics and healthcare companies, instead of intervening, seem to deliberately ignore this reality. Yet, the government has the tools to address and solve this problem.

Nurses need greater protections and concrete rights, starting with the abolition of the clearance for mobility.

In Emilia-Romagna, for example, many healthcare companies continue to obstruct compensatory exchanges between healthcare professionals with arrogance and indifference. This attitude, aggravated by the silence of part of the political world and some unions, is pushing many workers to abandon the profession.

Compensatory exchanges represent an effective solution to reconcile personal needs with organizational ones, at no cost to the administration. Satisfied employees are more motivated, productive, and stable. Moreover, reducing travel times also means reducing pollution and improving quality of life. Yet, many companies continue to hinder this opportunity, unable to grasp its benefits.

It is true that article 14-bis of law 26/2019 – a regulation with a questionable structure even from a constitutional point of view – establishes that competition winners must remain for at least five years in their first assigned location. However, compensatory mobility is an explicitly provided exception. Article 7 of D.P.C.M. n. 325 of August 5, 1988 allows it at any time, provided there is financial neutrality and correspondence of the professional profiles involved.

So, what happens if a healthcare company denies the clearance without valid justification? Jurisprudence is clear: in the absence of founded reasons, the employee has the right to transfer. This is stated, for example, by the ruling of the Agrigento Court of March 26, 2004.

It is urgent and essential that political forces intervene immediately, today, to put an end to this situation of abuse and institutional indifference. Those who have chosen this profession have the right to be treated with dignity, have the right to reconcile their personal life with their work life.

Only in this way can we build a strong, humane, and truly efficient healthcare system.

My appeal is clear: let us abandon the generalist unions and those who propose absurdities such as the nurse's assistant. It is time to unite and fight for real, consistent representation that serves the category.
