Google Dermatology Assist, per la diagnosi precoce. Medici italiani preoccupati.

Google presents “Dermatology Assist“, a diagnostic tool based on artificial intelligence, which promises to help doctors in diagnosis, thanks to its ability to recognize and diagnose 288 diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. 

It will only take a photo, upload it to your device, after downloading and activating the Dermatology Assist APP, and answer a few questions. 

Dermatology Assist, in our opinion, could become an excellent prevention tool, helping many people to recognize a lesion at its onset, avoiding, for example, that it is underestimated or mistaken for something else, with the aim of then going early to a specialist.

The new technology has already received the CE mark for use in Europe and will soon be tested in our continent as well. 

The entire scientific world is waiting with curiosity, except in Italy, clearly. 

Part of the Italian scientific community is worried, do they underestimate the intelligence of the Italian population? 

We are sure that no one intends to replace the Italian medical profession. 

Even when we nurses ask for a fair adjustment to our salary, which is below the OECD average, the order of doctors becomes alarmed as if it were under attack.

We think the Italian medical profession worries too much.
