Nursing Up: omaggio alle vittime della strage alla stazione

44° anniversario della strage alla Stazione di Bologna...

Bologna, August 2, 2024 - On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the massacre at Bologna Station, the Nursing Up of Bologna will join the city in remembering the 85 innocent victims and all those who were involved in that terrible tragedy.

A delegation of professionals will be present from the early hours of the morning, starting at 8:30 am, in Piazza Nettuno, and will then join the procession that will reach the station.

We will not carry flags, banners, or slogans; we will blend in with the population, without using the event to publicize the union, in respect for the victims and their families. It will be a moment of reflection and remembrance.

The procession, which will start from Piazza Nettuno and go along via Indipendenza, via dei Mille, and via Amendola, will arrive in Piazza Medaglie d'Oro where the commemorative ceremony will be held.

At 10:25 am, the exact time of the explosion, a minute of silence will interrupt the city to remember the victims. This will be followed by speeches from the authorities and family members, including that of the president of the Association, Paolo Bolognesi.

The celebrations will move to the waiting room where wreaths will be laid in memory of the victims, and then move to the first platform of the Central Station to lay wreaths in memory of the railway worker Silver Sirotti, who died in the Italicus train massacre.

A special train will then depart for San Benedetto Val di Sambro, where a commemoration will be held dedicated to the victims of the Italicus and 904 Naples-Milan train attacks.

"Let us not forget the innocent victims of this massacre and of all the massacres that have marked our history." Our presence is intended as a tangible sign of closeness to the families and a constant commitment to the search for truth and justice."

Nursing Up Bologna invites all colleagues to participate in this important commemoration, so as not to forget and to build a future of peace and justice.
