Nursing Up Ausl Romagna press release:
After months of negotiations and after the approval of our board, held yesterday, this morning Nursing Up has probably signed the most important company agreements for the enhancement of healthcare and OSS staff.
With great satisfaction, after many very heated discussions with the general management, we will give legs, thanks to the determination of our delegation, to the requests that all professionals were waiting for;
1) immediate recruitment of 189 healthcare workers and 70 OSS on permanent contracts to strengthen wards and services for the summer...
2) DEP (formerly PEO bands) more than doubled the amount available for professional economic enhancement, which goes from the initial €700,000 to €1,450,000 to restart the reward system after the COVID block
3) *recognition for an additional shift exclusively for covering sudden absences within 24 hours with €50/hour for healthcare staff and €30/hour for OSS staff and ambulance drivers for a total amount of €2,500,000—an agreement of this kind has never been made before*
4) company welfare continues for 2024/25 for the "education cycle" incentive with the aim of creating a *welfare platform* where all employees, without discrimination, can benefit from company subsidies.
5) enhancement for the winter period (October 2024-March 2025) for staff who, on a voluntary basis, make themselves available to return to service to cover sudden absences with a token of €70 + overtime for healthcare staff and €35 + overtime for OSS staff.
6) additional enhancement of €1.05 for each access to the canteen or substitute points with cumulative reimbursements paid in two installments, in October 2024 and March 2025. Further studies will be carried out regarding the cumulativeness of meal vouchers and the time slot will be extended until 4:30 pm
*Given the importance, including economic, of the proposed agreements affecting all healthcare staff, NURSING UP has decided to sign the above with a note in the minutes highlighting the improvements we want as early as next year.
