Art. 65 Violations by workers of the obligations governed by art. 64 (Employee Obligations) give rise, depending on the seriousness of the infraction, to the following sanctions: a) verbal warning; b) written warning (censure); c) fine of a variable amount up to a maximum of four hours' pay; d) suspension from service with loss of pay for up to ten days; e) suspension from service with loss of pay from 11 days up to a maximum of six months; f) dismissal with notice; g) dismissal without notice. 2) The following disciplinary sanctions are also provided for by Legislative Decree no. 165/2001: a) suspension from service with loss of pay for up to a maximum of 15 days, pursuant to art. 55-bis, paragraph 7; b) suspension from service with loss of pay from a minimum of three days up to a maximum of three months, pursuant to art. 55-sexies, paragraph 1; c) suspension from service with loss of pay for up to a maximum of three months, pursuant to art. 55-sexies, paragraph 3; 3. For the identification of the competent disciplinary authority for employee disciplinary proceedings and for the forms and terms of the disciplinary procedure, the provisions of art. 55-bis of Legislative Decree no. 165 of 2001 apply. 4. The head of the structure where the employee works, after hearing the employee's defense regarding the alleged facts, proceeds to impose the sanction of verbal warning. The imposition of the sanction must be recorded in the personal file. 5. Disciplinary sanctions cannot be taken into account for any purpose after two years from their imposition. 6. The measures referred to in paragraph 1 do not relieve the employee from any other type of liability incurred. 7. In any case, the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 116 of 2016 and those of art. 55 and following of Legislative Decree no. 165/2001 remain unaffected.
