How can political figures, Fnopi, some unions and public managers, with high salaries and no risks or responsibilities, claim that our salary is adequate? They say that the exodus of nurses is not due to pay, but that more responsibility and training are needed to make the profession attractive. Ridiculous proposals like removing the university admission cap, importing staff from India, and creating jolly roles to replace nurses, midwives or OSS are not the solution. They always talk about Europe when it comes to cutting costs or increasing executive salaries, but Europe disappears when it comes to healthcare professionals. The money is there, don't be fooled. They find billions for weapons, useless projects, and to save banks or friendly multinationals. Let's not be fooled anymore, wake up colleagues!
