The government wants to get its hands on public healthcare; we at Nursing Up Emilia Romagna will not allow it. Take to the streets, even alone, to defend our rights. We will not stop as long as our colleagues give us support and participation. You are our engine and together we can make a difference. We invite you all to participate in our event tomorrow, 11/9/2023, at 2:30 pm, in Piazza della Liberazione no. 60 in Pievesestina. Furthermore, on 11/20/23 we will be in Rimini in front of the Prefecture at 9:30 am. Afterwards, we will organize similar events in Bologna, Ferrara, and other cities. We are waiting for permits and will update you as soon as possible. For more information, you can contact us at the email address lapaginadinursingup@yahoo.com. Vincenzo Parisi
Public healthcare is the common good that cares for and protects every person; it is not a commodity to be sold or bought, but a right to be defended and guaranteed.
Public healthcare is an essential service that offers quality and accessibility; it is not a cost to be cut or reduced, but an investment to be supported and valued.
Public healthcare is a system of solidarity that promotes equity and participation; it is not a privilege to be denied or limited, but an opportunity to be shared and expanded.
Italian healthcare has always been envied around the world; for decades, we were second only to France. Today, however, the NHS is a ramshackle system that is falling apart, kept afloat only by the enormous sacrifices of nurses, midwives, and healthcare assistants, who skip rest days and holidays that will never be paid.
